	BuildingBlocks Iron 30 mg is a 30-day supply of tablets, chelated to an amino acid for maximal absorption. The 30 mg dosage is for menstruating women.
	Iron deficiencies are likely to occur with gastric bypass because the area of the gut responsible for most iron absorption is bypassed by the procedure and iron, similar to calcium, requires gastric acid for optimal absorption. BuildingBlocks Iron is chelated with an amino acid for enhanced absorption. The 30 mg dosage is for menstruating women. NOTE: Iron 15 mg formula is recommended for men and postmenopausal women, and can be found on the products page. Do Not take Iron and Calcium together or within 2 hours of each other.
